WHERE UNARMED COVERAGE FITS

Unarmed officers can provide a steady presence at residential communities, offices, retail properties, construction sites, and events. Their duties may include checking access, assisting visitors, monitoring activity, patrolling, and documenting concerns.

The work is tailored to the site. We define what officers should handle directly and what must be referred to management, emergency services, or law enforcement.

  • FLEXIBILITY

COVERAGE THAT CAN CHANGE

A dedicated unarmed assignment may include a patrol vehicle for on-site checks. This is separate from our armed random mobile patrol service, currently available in Guilford and Mecklenburg counties, North Carolina. Where a mobile route operates, an unarmed post can be paired with armed patrol. Coverage can also be expanded for an event or adjusted as site activity changes.

  • DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES

SERVICE AT THE POINT OF CONTACT

An unarmed officer can welcome and direct visitors, check an approved access list, maintain a log, observe cameras when assigned, and patrol areas that need regular attention. Officers apply the client’s rules professionally and pass management decisions to authorized client personnel. When an incident exceeds the assignment, they contact supervisors, police, fire, or medical responders through the established procedure.

At residential properties, this can mean helping visitors find the right entrance while recording concerns in parking and amenity areas. At commercial sites, it can mean supporting tenant access, deliveries, and closing checks.
